Telfrance Group, directed by Christophe Marguerie, has diversified to ensure that it is present in all area of the profession through its subsidiaries and its
production and distribution labels. Telfrance is one of the leading companies in French broadcasting.
Telfrance Group is the 3rd largest producer of primetime TV drama in France with over 44 hours of screen time and the 4th largest producer of flow (source: Écran Total, 2008). It is also the market leader for daily drama
thanks to the series Life’s So Sweet, which has a cumulated screen time of over 338 hours per year.

In the past, Telfrance has produced a lot of TV drama including flagship series with recurring heroes such as Cordier & Son, judge and cop, Louis’ Antique Shop,
SisterTheres@.com and C.I.D. The company currently makes:

- TV serials with Life’s So Sweet, a new format created for France 3 in 2004 that has gone on to become a social phenomenon and a media brand; |

- Magazine programmes with Motherly Yours and On n’est pas que des parents, broadcast 4 times per week on France 5; |
 |
- Documentaries with D-Day, leur jour le plus long for France 2 and Gendarmes for France 3; |
 |
- Animations with Loopdidou; |
 |
- Game shows and light entertainment. |
Telfrance also has its own integrated production material with 10,000 m² of studios at Perray-en-Yvelines
and Puma Studios in Boulogne-Billancourt in the suburbs of Paris.
Telfrance also has two structures that sell rights. Our subsidiary 2001
audiovisuel exploits a catalogue of over 4,000 hours of programmes on behalf of third-party producers and for Telfrance
itself. The License Lab’ label is in charge of licensing, derivative works and partnerships for the group’s main brands
as well as for other producers keen to exploit their programmes’ full potential. |
